Merry Christmas!

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.  And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6

Wishing you a wonderful Christmas weekend!

That's a Wrap!

I just realized that Christmas is THIS SUNDAY.  I better get my butt in gear, and get to wrapping.

Here is some inspiration {via Pinterest} for all of my fellow wrapping-slackers out there.

Happy wrapping!

{31Bits} Free Shipping For a Good Cause!

Kallie Dovel, traveled to Uganda in the summer of 2007, getting a first- hand look at life in Northern Uganda. While she was there, she met women making paper beads but who lacked a plan to market and sell them. After spending time in their homes and hearing their stories, Kallie knew there had to be a way to give opportunities to her new friends. She brought a box of jewelry back to the U.S., and spent the next year finishing her degree and dreaming up the concept of a development organization. She brought a few friends on board and her ideas quickly evolved into 31 Bits. The girls traveled back to Uganda in August 2008, and selected six women to begin buying jewelry from on a monthly basis. Since then, we have grown to 99 women; each with a unique story of suffering that has been overcome with joy and liberation.

{Favorite Christmas Movies} The Holiday

I thought it would be fun to reflect on some of my Christmas favorites now that we're in that special season

I'll start with my MOST favorite ~ The Holiday

It's Beginning to Sound a lot like Christmas...

My best friend just cent me the Amy Grant ~ Home for Christmas CD and I can't stop listening to it.

Christmas music has to be some of the most nostalgiac music around.   This particular CD reminds me so much of my best friend and the many Christmases we spent together as kids, teens, and adults.

Which Christmas albums/songs are your favorites?

Happy VERY Belated New Year!

WOW, WOW, WOW!  I am waaaaay behind on the blogging.

I just got SO relaxed on my lovely two-week long teacher Christmas Break.  School has been back in session for two weeks now, and I am SWAMPED.

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year's Eve.  One of the highlights of my Christmas vacation was celebrating my firstborn niece, Madison Rae's, 2nd birthday - Minnie Style!  Have you checked out her party?

Although belated, I thought you might enjoy this beautiful New Year's Eve Wedding inspiration board from Winter Wedding Ideas.  It's never too late to start planning for next year, right?

I pray for God's many blessings on your 2011!
